Who knew it would happen so fast.  I was out, on a Friday night with some friends and we ran into a couple of friends to someone in our group.  I felt like my heart may have fluttered a little bit when I was introduced to Tony.  He looks nothing like the guys I normally go out with, but it was something in his eyes.  He asked me for my phone number.  I had already quizzed my friend that knew him and he passes, so I didn’t hesitate when he asked for my number.  I was thinking he will never call or at least he will wait for weeks before calling. The very next morning, on Saturday, guess who called?  That’s right, Tony!  I was excited. He wanted to take me to the beach for lunch.  It sounds like fun I told him.  He said I’ll be there in 45 minutes, is that enough time for you to get ready.  I said yes.  The next thing I know there he is standing in my doorway right on time.  This is good sign, I thought to myself.  Twelve months later we are planning our wedding. My mother is picking up the wedding favors and wedding garter.  She is also helping my little sister get ready for prom.  My mother also picked up some prom party favors, discount prom favors and personalized prom favors for my sister’s special friends. I think both events are going to turn out great and we will live a happy life together.  You never know where Mr. Right will turn up and it is when you least expect it, as I was not looking to get married for quite some time, but things can change – for sure!

My sister loves to point out that I am a type A personality, which means organized, overly prepared at times, and likes get things done.  Today she really had fun teasing me about being type A.  I was getting married in 2 months and my sister came over to help me set out all the wedding decorations.  When she arrived, I was in the middle of asking my fiance, “Where dd my wedding bell decorations go?  My sister was roaring with laughter and asked if I was referring to all the decorations I purchased over 6 months ago. I had found some cheap wedding bells and cheap wedding bell favors and couldn’t pass up such a great deal.  I had purchased 5 extra special large wedding bells and I could not find those.  They were so large that I just cannot figure out where they’re hiding.  Just then my fiance walks back into the room and asks do you mean those 3 large boxes that were in the spare bedroom?  I said yes those 3 boxes.  He reminded me that he took them over to my mother’s house because we had out of town guests 4 months ago, who stayed for over a week, and we wanted the extra bedroom to look nice. Whew, that was a close one.  On the way over to our mother’s house, I bragged to my sister that I already have all my wedding favors too!  Yes, I was worried for a short time, but now it’s all better and we need to move on to more wedding projects.

Calling all ring bearer pillows! It’s time for my finance and I to figure out if were going to do a ring bearer pillow wedding theme, meaning all the wedding favors for the guests will be pillow favors.  I think we should make this decision together.  I know if we do plan to use this wedding theme that we will pick out really nice wedding ring bearer pillows.  We want to give everyone that attends something nice that they will want to keep and help them remember our special day.
